Custom In-Line Circulators
Overview
These custom circulators feature the classic horizontal in-line design, engineered for durability and smooth operation. Designed for large flow applications. Impellers and motors are fine-tuned to meet the exact system requirements. Available in all-bronze and bronze-fitted construction.
Design Features
Body Design
The radially-split body can be left in the line while servicing the pump, eliminating need to disconnect pipes.
Oversized Shaft
Armstrong circulating pumps are constructed with over-sized shafts of special alloy steel. Shafts include integral thrust collars, heat treated to provide long life under severe duty conditions.
Extra Long Sleeve Bearings
Series 1060 features bronze sleeve bearings, extra long, to keep the shaft in perfect alignment and provide quiet operation.
Positive Mechanical Seal
A tried and proven method of preventing water leakage, the well-known “ARMSEAL” construction is an often imitated feature of the ARMSTRONG circulator. Made of long-lasting, hardwearing materials, the positive mechanical seal ensures many years of quiet,trouble-free service.
Modular Construction
The Series 1050 features the unique ARMSTRONG shaft and bearing module for ease of serviceability and reduced inventory costs. The mechanical seal is the “wear” part of a circulating pump. Many circulator designs require replacement of the entire pump when the seal wears. With the Armstrong Seal Bearing Assembly you can replace just the required parts.
Maximum Operating Temperature
225°F (107°C)
Maximum Working Pressure
175 psi (1207 kPa)
