Here’s the ideal foot valve, complete with all the features you’d want if you designed it
yourself ! Nothing like the BARNES 4 for 1, for performance, durabillity, easy
installation.
• Positive Sealing: Made possible by a spring-loaded valve poppet closing against a
smooth tapered seat.
• Corrosion-proof: Made entirely of new molded materials and stainless steel, won’t
corrode regardless of water conditions.
• Strong: Withstands working pressures up to 200 psi.
• Self-Cleaning: Special design prevents sand scale from settling on the seating
surface and fouling the valve.
• Full Flow: Large screen area resist clogging, assures ample water passage,
eliminates suction drag.
• Tapered ribs on screen provide guide to eliminate pipe joint hange-up during
installation.
EASY INSTALLATION:
Simply remove the threaded sections which are smaller than required. Grip the 3/4”
threaded section in a vise and cut off un-needed threads with a hacksaw. The
self-lubricating, precision-molded threads require only a small amount of pipe dope.
Yet, if too much is applied, it is squeezed outside, protecting the valve seat from
fouling.
