The Simplex pump contactor control is supplied in a NEMA Type I general
purpose indoor enclosure to prevent accidental contact with the enclosed
equipment.
The enclosure if formed of 16 gauge deep drawn steel with baked on gray
epoxy paint. The enclosure will contain a two or three pole,
amperage rated magnetic contactor for pump control. A normally open
auxiliary interlock switch, rated 10 amperes minimum, provides control use
with one or two float switches or a single pressure switch. Contactor coil,
float switches and other pilot devices operated at line voltage (with the
exception of 230 volt controls).
A terminal block is provided for customer connection of level switches, or
other pilot controls, and/or a remote mounted alarm option. A toggle switch
provides hand-off-automatic operation with spring return from the hand
to off position to prevent damage to pump. An amber run light is mounted
through the enclosure side to indicate pump run operation.
For 115 and 230 volt, 1 phase operation, up to 3 HP.
